A Superb Elevation for Marc into Leyland Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 1002 at Chorley MH
 
On Friday 5th April 2024 Bro Marc Ali Morad Wolverson was elevated into the Ancient and Honourable Fraternity of Royal Ark Mariners in fine style at Leyland Lodge 1002.

The WM Bro Alan Scarrot opened the lodge in due form and the general business was dealt with.
 
Following a favourable ballot, W.Bro. Mike Pinckard APGM was invited to take the chair.
 
What followed was a faultless ceremony of elevation, with not a ritual book in sight.
Bro. John Askew as JW and Bro. Jim Hustler as SW were both word perfect, with Jim delivering an excellent rendition of the 9 steps and the investiture. Bro. Bill Bruce guided the candidate around the lodge in an excellent manner and W.Bro. John Dean demonstrated the signs with beautiful alacrity. The working tools were presented by W. Bro. Steve Hallam in an excellent manner.
 
Bro Marc was then treated to one of the best explanations of the working tools most have witnessed.
 
All this was carefully orchestrated by W.Bro. Bill Swindlehurst, the DC.
 
All the lodge officers were present and discharged their duties admirably.
 
Among the many members and visitors in attendance to witness this superb ceremony were several V.W.Brethren and one commented that it was the best elevation he had ever seen.
 
After the elevation ceremony, W.Bro. Scarrott was restored to the chair of Adoniram and W.Bro Pinckard formally welcomed Bro. Wolverson to the fraternity and congratulated the lodge officers on a job well done.
